This application shows the transformation between gravitational, kinetic and elastic potential energies.

Use your fingers to:

• Adjust the heights h1, h2 and h3 by clicking and dragging each of the three plateaus up or down.
• Change the reference level of gravitational potential energy, represented by the thin blue line, by clicking and dragging this line.

Buttons:

• Starts or pauses the simulation.
• Restarts the simulation.
• : Configures the coefficient of kinetic friction, the mass of the object, the elastic constant of the spring and the speed of the simulation.
• Enables or disables the reference grid.
• Enables or disables information about the particle's energies.
• Scale Shows the scale.
