This application simulates projectile launch.

Buttons:

• Starts or pauses the simulation.
• Restarts the simulation.
• Enables or disables the reference grid.
• Enables or disables trajectories.
• Erases all trajectories.
• Accesses other simulation parameters.
• Proj Shows the projections of the particle on the x and/or y axes.
• v_j Shows the component of the velocity vector in the j direction.
• v Shows the velocity vector.

Projectile launch simulation. The air resistance force is considered to be proportional to the speed ($F_{air} = -\gamma m v$).

Simulation base equations:

$ x = \dfrac{v_0\cos(\theta_0)}{\gamma}( 1 - e^{-\gamma t} ) $ $ y = -\dfrac{gt}{\gamma} + \dfrac{\gamma v_0\sin(\theta_0) + g}{\gamma^2}( 1 - e^{-\gamma t} ). $

$g$ is the acceleration due to gravity.
